Since the beginning of time, color discrimination has plagued our cultures while destructively scarring our self worth and value. Birthed from the children’s book, Mommy Why Is My Skin So Dark?, Dark Skin Not Allowed, embarks on an emotionally provoking journey through North America, Africa, West Indies and South Asia on a personal quest to uncover the deep rooted disdain for dark skin, through the eyes of its victims, protesters and advocates.
